DEACON DOMINIC CLEMENTE, JR.
4th Year Theology
Mundelein
Seminary

FAVORITES:

SAINT: St. Josemaria Escriva because of his practical writings assisting us in living holy life.  Also, his rosary mediations are among the most beautiful. St.Josemaria has brought Dominic closer to Christ through his own saintly witness.
BOOK: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
SCRIPTURE: Be still and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10

Dominic grew up, received his Sacraments and still considered St. Celestine his home Parish.  His current pastor is Fr. Paul Cao.  Dominic went to St. Patrick High School and began to answer the call to the priesthood at St. Joseph College Seminary.

The best advice he received while discerning was, It's not an easy lifestyle but it's a rewarding one in that you serve God's people not for your own ego but for Christ." -Fr. Larry Sullivan (Chicago Priest and Pastor of St. Christina Parish.  As a seminarian, Dominic advises others to, imagine yourself, in prayer, giving the sacraments in the role of the priest. If you can sit with the Holy Spirit and see yourself giving the sacraments to the people of God and feel a joy and excitement in your heart then that's a good sign.
