	THE PRIESTHOOD Christ instituted the priesthood to continue his saving work among his people. Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders men are configured to Christ to proclaim the gospel, administer the sacraments and live among His people, loving them with the heart of Christ.
	LIFE OF A PRIEST A priest engages in people’s lives at the most memorable times: baptisms, weddings, anointing of the sick and funerals; celebrates the Eucharist with the parish; and helps people reconcile with God and community through sacramental forgiveness in Christ’s name. More
	BECOMING A PRIEST You can discover God’s plan for you life by getting support from others, including your parish priest or the Vocation Director. Through their guidance you can participate in weekend retreats and be part of a group of men discerning their call, which may lead to entering one of the seminaries to begin your studies for the priesthood.
